Protection, Restoration & Care
Grout
will begin absorbing dirt and grime immediately after installation. Because
grout is a porous material, it will readily absorb dirt and stains even
with regular mopping. This can leave the grout color looking uneven and
dirty and spoil the look of a whole room. Most sealers on the market today,
even the expensive ones, only provide stain resistance. Stain resistance
means you have a little more time to pick up a spill, but it's just not
enough protection for most homeowners. Just sealing grout doesn't make
it stain proof.
Ideally, grout would be made so resistant to stains that common household spills could be removed with regular maintenance. Spills would be easily wiped away leaving the grout looking like the day it was installed. The floor would be easily maintained with regular mopping and look new for years to come. Sounds too good to be true but that's exactly what we do! We specialize in protecting grout from permanent stains.
New Grout
While ceramic tile is extremely durable and will last for decades, the
grout between the tiles is very porous and will readily absorb dirt and
spills.
New grout can be professionally protected using a specialized process called color sealing.
Color sealing provides the highest degree of stain protection and greatly reduces the maintenance required to keep tile and grout looking clean and fresh.

Old Grout
Color sealing creates a long lasting layer of protection that prevents dirt and spills from absorbing into grout. The original grout color is "locked in" while dirt and spills are "sealed out".
